Unsupervised Color Image Fuzzy Classification Scheme based on Salient Regions:
Implemented a scheme to separate out the salient regions or also called the segments, from the original image.Extracted salient region from image, according to human perception of image using pixel boundaries.Used a collection of images to build up a database for the classification purpose to generate different clusters.Implemented a salient region extraction algorithm based on color and texture of objects using Fuzzy classification methods.

Developed Storage Manager, Buffer Manager and Record Manager in Linux Environment resembling Database storage system. Storage manager is responsible to read and write data from blocks to memory. Buffer manager can pin/unpin pages using FIFO/LRU/CLOCK/LFU page replacement algorithms based on client file access. Record manager inserts tuples and handles record tombstone functionality.

There are so many people in the world who never have the opportunity to pursue the career they love. I’m not one of them. I love what I do and since starting my career in India. Hard Work - Fun - Results, are only few of the traits i possess.
I am currently a Graduate Student at Illinois Tech, Chicago pursuing Master of Science in Computer Science.I am a well-rounded and seasoned software developer with nearly 3 years of experience, out of which I worked as a Senior Systems Engineer at Infosys Ltd. for the same period of time.As my Master's degree requires internship, I am loking for opprtunities to work with greatest people in tech industry.
PERSONAL STATEMENT
My three major interests and passions are Computer Science, Art and Music, and I believe that there is a creative fusion between all these disciplines. I engage wholeheartedly in these areas both in my school courses and out of school, and hope that I will be able to continue doing so on my chosen course and in the extra-curricular opportunities at university.
It was my dad, introducing me to the computer systems at his workplace that first sparked this interest. I can always remember the feeling of wanting to know just how computers worked, why they worked and what else they could do.This interest never left me, only grew more profound.The knowledge that I have gained in these years together helped me set up a small business which initially started as a hobby. The writing of a business plan was a totally alien experience for me,but at the end I was rewarded with the satisfaction of knowing that I had completed something that most people would never have the chance to do especially at my age.
My passion for Art further developed and let me to explore myself and work as a part time Fashion Designer and Interior Decorator.I have much appreciated being able to develop my above interests alongside my passion for Computer Science.I’m looking forward with great anticipation to the challenges that studying for a degree in computer science will bring.
